Otto 1995 Volvo 850 Sedan BTCC White and Blue 1:18
1:18 Scale resin, sealed (no opening parts) in incredible detail. LIMITED EDITION: 1500 pieces worldwide
After a remarkable debut season in the BTCC (British Touring Car Championship) thanks to their choice of car—a station wagon—Volvo and TWR returned for a second consecutive season in 1995. But this time, the now-legendary station wagon was set aside in favor of a traditional sedan. In fact, the introduction of aerodynamic aids rendered the station wagon impossible to use. A sedan version was quickly developed, building on the experience gained with the 1994 model. As a result, Rickard Rydell won the second race of the season and continued to impress for the rest of the year. He finished third in the championship with four wins and seven podium finishes! The team also placed third in the championship, a well-deserved reward for their hard work.
